River Run House self-catering accommodation is situated in the heart of Ireland in the serene lakeside village of Terryglass. Terryglass sits on the shores of Lough Derg, with a quaint marina and the remains of the 6th-century St.Columba’s monastery.
River Run House & Cottages is situated at the centre of this idyllic village and is the perfect getaway for groups. Our accommodation has been completely refurbished to the highest standard to create a unique rural destination, a magical place to escape to. There are 2 bar/restaurants, a village shop, and just 500m walk to the lake shore with many lake activities nearby including saunas, kayaking and boat rides to name a few.
Why not try sumptuous, seasonal meals served at our sister restaurant, The Derg Inn, situated just a stone’s throw from River Run. With everything right on your
door step, all there is left to do is relax, have fun, and enjoy making memories to last a lifetime.
River Run House - Within the house, there are two apartments and the main house itself. There is a large kitchen area, living room, sitting room, library, a dining room that opens out onto the patio, and a conservatory looking out over the beautiful gardens. There is a games room located at the bottom of the garden with a pool table and foosball table. All guests share the common living spaces however the house can be divided into three self-contained units if required. In total River Run House with incorporated apartments has 6 generous bedrooms which can accommodate up to 14 guests in total, with a further 4 sofa beds if required. We have an ePower electric car charger on site.

We supply towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo & shower gel), as well as coffee, tea and sugar. The accommodations are well equipped with everything you will need for that home-from-home feel, hair dryer, iron, air fryer, coffee machine, cooker, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine.
We also have a terrace of three 2 bedroom cottages on site. These will sleep a further 12 guests max and you can view these in another listing.
