Ryder Cup 2027 Accommodation

Woodberry is a spacious private detached home in Muckross, Killarney, set in a peaceful location beside Killarney National Park and within easy reach of Killarney town.
Ryder Cup Accommodation offers a comfortable and private base for guests attending the 2027 Ryder Cup, while also providing the opportunity to enjoy Killarney and the wider Kerry region during the stay.
The property has recently changed ownership and we are continuing to make improvements and add more homely touches throughout the house. As a result, some furnishings and décor may differ slightly from the photographs, but the layout and accommodation remain as shown.
Ryder Cup Accommodation:
The house has three main bedrooms, comfortably accommodating six guests:
- Master bedroom with Super King bed and ensuite bathroom
- Bedroom with King bed
- Bedroom with Double bed
For groups of more than six, we also have two additional rooms that may be adapted with sofa beds or additional sleeping arrangements, depending on the requirements of the group. We would prefer to discuss this directly with guests so that the most comfortable setup can be arranged.
The house includes:
- Two upstairs bathrooms with electric showers
- Ensuite to the master bedroom
- Additional downstairs WC
- Large main living room
- Second sitting room
- Kitchen and dining area
- 500 Mbps Wi-Fi throughout the house
- 49-inch television with Netflix and the ability to connect guests' own streaming devices
- Fresh bed linen and towels provided
The house will be prepared as a comfortable home for guests rather than simply as basic event accommodation.
Gardens, parking and storage
The property is surrounded by private mature gardens with lawn areas and outdoor seating.
There is a deck with a table and seating for six, together with a parasol providing shelter from either sun or light rain.
There is comfortable private parking for three cars, with additional parking possible if required.
We also have substantial secure shed/storage space available. There would be ample room for the equipment of a larger group, including golf clubs, bicycles, luggage and other sporting equipment for up to approximately 10 guests.
Killarney & local amenities
The house is located in Muckross, just outside Killarney town and beside Killarney National Park, one of Ireland's best-known natural attractions, covering more than 26,000 acres of lakes, woodland, mountains and historic sites. National Parks of Ireland
Killarney town offers an extensive range of restaurants, traditional pubs, cafés, hotels, shops and nightlife, making the property a particularly good base for groups who would like to combine the Ryder Cup with time in Kerry.
Nearby attractions include Muckross House & Gardens, Torc Waterfall, the Lakes of Killarney, Ross Castle, the Gap of Dunloe and the Ring of Kerry.
Golf
Killarney is also an excellent base for golfers.
Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is nearby and offers two 18-hole championship courses, Killeen and Mahony's Point, together with a 9-hole Academy Course. The club has hosted the Irish Open four times and is set within the landscape of Killarney National Park beside Lough Leane. Killarney Golf & Fishing Club
The wider Kerry region also provides access to some of Ireland's best-known golf destinations, making the house particularly suitable for a golfing group extending their trip around Ryder Cup week.
Ryder Cup transport
The Ryder Cup will take place at Adare Manor in September 2027.
If required, guests are welcome to enquire about private transport or chauffeur arrangements to and from the Ryder Cup, and we can discuss available options depending on the group's requirements.
Airport transfers can also be discussed if required.
Enquiries, calls and viewings
We are very happy to speak directly with interested groups by phone or video call to answer any questions about the property, sleeping arrangements, transport or the local area.
Where practical, we are also happy to arrange a viewing of the house in advance for prospective guests or a representative of the group.
As this is our own home, we are happy to discuss individual requirements and try to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
