The home is a recently refurbished, architect designed, modern, bright and spacious base a 5 minute stroll from Dingle Links golf club. Ryder Cup Accommodation includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (sleeps 11), a stunning open plan kitchen, living, dining room with panoramic sea views opening onto a large outdoor terrace and firepit and a separate office and tv room. The house is about 130km from Adare and there will be many transport options available locally if you don't want to drive.
Ceann Sibéal Links (Dingle Links) Course, one of Ireland’s most historic and authentic links golf courses, is renowned for its traditional layout, rugged coastal setting and welcoming clubhouse with bar and restaurant. It is just down the road and offers a genuine Irish links golf experience in an un-spoilt landscape.
Ferriter’s Cove, a stunning beach steeped in history and featured in Ryan’s Daughter, is nearby, as are the beautiful beaches of Smerwick Harbour. Coumeenoole Beach, one of Ireland’s most iconic Atlantic beaches, and the unforgettable Dunquin Pier are also close at hand.
A short drive brings you to Ballyferriter village, which offers a lively yet traditional atmosphere with a museum, gallery, pottery studio, a well-stocked local shop, and a selection of pubs and restaurants. Just beyond Ballyferriter, Dingle offers excellent amenities, including large supermarkets, a wide choice of outstanding restaurants, traditional pubs, cafés, shops, galleries and craft stores. Wander through colourful streets filled with pubs, artisan shops, and some of Ireland’s finest seafood restaurants. In the evenings, relax with live music sessions that capture the heart and soul of Irish culture. The restaurants and pubs in Dingle are unmatched!
Spend your days taking in the spectacular views both from the house and along the incredible Slea Head Drive which is the setting for many movies such as Star Wars, Ryans Daughter and Far and Away. Explore hidden coves or enjoy boat trips where dolphins are often spotted (and whales if you are lucky!).
Golf enthusiasts are also exceptionally well catered for, with Tralee Golf Club, an Arnold Palmer masterpiece consistently ranked among the finest links courses in the world, located approximately one hour’s drive from the house and the many other world class courses in Kerry just over an hour away. Adare Manor is approximately two hours’ drive away. Kerry Airport is approximately one and a half hours away, with Shannon and Cork airports both reachable within two to two and a half hours. A car is essential to fully enjoy the area.
