More information about this incredible setting:
Set on the rise to the iconic Cliffs of Moher, An Run gazes across Liscannor Bay towards Spanish Point, where the remnants of the Armada were driven ashore by the wild Atlantic Ocean.
Waves pound the rocks of Clehane at the foot of a carpet of famous Irish green fields that stretches below the house. At the head of the bay lies Lahinch, renowned for
its International links golf course, host of the 2019 Irish Open, and its magnificent surfing beach.
Above Clehane the 40 km Burren Way, a walkers delight, winds around the bay, up along the Cliff top, and down to Doolin famous for its traditional folk music and warm welcome. Beyond lies the bare limestone escarpment of the Burren itself, with magnificent views of the Aran Islands, a short boat trip away to the west, the Twelve Bens of Connemara, distant in the north and Galway City bustling across its Bay.
There’s as much or as little as you’ll want by day and as the sun goes down ye’ll surely wind your way down for a pint in Egans or McHugh’s and a taste of seafood at the award winning Vaughans in the tiny village.
