Private Ryder cup accommodation 60 mins drive from Adare Manor. Available for all of September with a minimum rental of two weeks.
Overlooking the stunning Tralee Bay and the mountains of the Dingle Peninsula, and eight minutes’ drive from Tralee town centre, this recently renovated attractive property offers comfort, privacy, convenience and unique appeal for discerning guests.
Ideal for up to five visitors, the bungalow has two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with neighbouring utility space, a living room, library, and music room with a grand piano.
Guests can enjoy a modern outdoor sauna and home-grown vegetables from the landscaped garden that overlooks the bay. Other features include a large stone patio and smaller sitting area. The garden with its sauna, poet’s corner, shepherd’s nook (a small art studio near where sheep congregate), patio and magnificent vista is a peaceful place to relax, read, sketch, and socialize after a day’s golf.

The house offers a gentle retreat away from the Ryder Cup crowds and easy access to nearby attractions.

Touring
Tralee is the gateway to the Dingle Peninsula and Kerry’s unspoiled beaches that are too numerous to mention. Banna, Fenit and Ballyheigue, all between eleven and seventeen minutes from the house, are top recommendations. Every kind of water sport is catered for in the area which is on the Wild Atlantic Way. Killarney is thirty minutes away, Dingle fifty minutes. The Tralee to Fenit Greenway (an off-road cycle and walkway trail) is at the bottom of the hill and there are wonderful nearby villages to explore, Fenit, Ballyheigue, Annascaul, Castlegregory, Clahane, Ventry, Castleisland, Ardfert.
Entertainment
Some of the best pubs in Ireland are here, many hosting traditional music sessions. ‘Betty’s’ in Tralee is the best! Two wonderfully atmospheric bar-restaurants with great food are minutes from the house, Kate Browne’s in Ardfert and The Oyster Tavern in the Spa. The ‘Celtic Steps’ show (venues in Tralee and Killarney) offers visitors a warm introduction to Irish culture and I can vouch for its excellence. The local theatre, Siamsa Tire, has events running throughout the year.
