Approximately a 3minute drive to the local town, Kilfinane, which comprises of shops, a chemist, bars, a restaurant, a late opening take away, a petrol station, a church, along with several beautiful historical structure’s, a tourist office and self guided walking routes.
🏞️ The beautiful Galtee and Ballyhoura Mountains are only a short 10min drive away, views of these can be enjoyed locally!
🧗🏼♂️🏃🏼♂️You can walk the various designated walking routes locally, enjoying the various wildlife it has to offer and if that is too subdued then the Ballyhoura Mountain Bike trails 🚴🏽 might be more exciting for you, and you can rent the bikes from the Trail centre. You can try the many Bike Trails which are open to all levels of experience and fitness!
📌Also, in the locality and only a 30min drive is the Mitchelstown Caves, this consists of underground chambers, passages and caverns.
📌The Cliffs of Moher and the Burren in Co Clare are also very popular tourist attractions and are only 1hr 25mins of a drive away from our home.
