It has a large garden with views looking out on the Shannon estuary, located in the village of Carrigaholt. Local pubs are within walking distance and provide traditional music at weekends during the summer and the Long Dock restaurant is open all summer long. Nearby attractions include the Loophead Lighthouse and Keatings restaurant located in Kilbaha, about a 20 minute drive from the house. Ryder Cup Lodging a 15 minute drive from the coastal town of Kilkee, which is very popular with Limerick people in the summer months. The town hosts a variety of restaurants and also a golf course that has spectacular views over Kilkee bay and the Atlantic ocean.
There are several beautiful cliff walks in Kilkee and there is a large beach, it is also an hours drive from the Cliffs of Moher. The Trump golf course in Doonbeg is a short 25 minute drive from the accommodation. Shannon airport is located 1 hour and 15 minutes from Carrigaholt and Adare Manor is located 1 hour and 38 minutes from Carrigaholt via car.
