The Open Accommodation a short walk along the beach into Portrush centre, if you continue round the Harbour (don’t miss the famous Harbour Bar), along Main Street and out the other side of town to the Royal Portrush Golf Club it is a 20-30 minutes walk.
The house is comfortable and well appointed, having 3 bedrooms- 2 doubles and 1 small double, certified to accomodate up to 5 people. There is an open plan fitted kitchen-diner with a dishwasher and fridge freezer and all you need to cook, eat and relax, a front room with panoramic coast and sea views, family shower room with walk in shower, a washing machine and tumble drier. Outside there is a front porch to enjoy the view, garden to 3 sides of the house and parking in the drive- room for 2 cars at a pinch.
It is a short walk along the beach or promenade to all the bars, cafés, shops and restaurants of Portrush, a pleasant walk west to Portstewart along the coastal path, with Ballyreagh Golf Club just a few minutes walk away. Portstewart Golf Club has 3 bookable courses, and a decent restaurant.
There are 3 airports in Northern Ireland, all easily accessible from Portrush: Derry (LDY) a 40 minute drive, Belfast International (Antrim) 1 hour’s drive and Belfast City (George Best) airport 1 hr 20 minutes.
West Cot is a comfortable house with a wonderful view- to be enjoyed at leisure with a morning coffee or an evening glass perhaps. It is a peaceful spot, with easy access to all the amenities of the area, from strolling down to the West strand for a swim to going out for a fishing trip from the harbour or playing a round of golf on one of the local links courses.
