The Open Accommodation just 8 miles from Royal Troon, accommodating up to 16 guests in 8 bedrooms, or up to 22 by adding 3 self-contained courtyard cottages. House of Craigie is an historic country house with an indoor heated swimming pool set within beautiful, manicured and well-established garden grounds with far reaching views over countryside and farmland to the islands of Arran, Ailsa Craig, Jura and as far as Ireland on a clear day - there is an all weather tennis court in the grounds.

LOCAL INFO
Royal Troon can be reached in around 10 minutes as can the town of Prestwick. Both towns have a huge choice of eateries and specialist/individual shops.
The beaches at Troon and Prestwick are perfect for a seaside walk, plus Dumfries House (owned by King Charles III) is 25 minutes by car with fabulous grounds and a day time snack and lunch restaurant, Culzean Castle is a fabulous clifftop castle overlooking the sea 30 minutes by car.
All the main supermarkets locally offer a delivery or click & collect service - House of Craigie is just 3.5 miles from the most popular and largest Tesco Extra in Kilmarnock and the town also has M & S food, Waitrose is 20 minutes away in Newton Mearns.
The train and bus station in Kilmarnock is 4.5 miles away and there are also train stations in Troon, Prestwick and at Prestwick Airport all within a 10 - 15 minute drive.
Taxis and minibuses can be hired from a number of local providers.
Aside from Royal Troon there is a huge choice of golf courses within the local area - Prestwick Golf Club host of the first Open Championship is 10 minutes by car and other popular courses within 10 - 20 minutes drive include -
Dundonald, Gailes, Barassie and Rowallan.
Turnberry is 30 minutes drive.
