Detached, secluded 2 Bedroom country cottage, 10 mins drive from Royal Troon, private drive, electronic gates, Aga stove, furnished in antique Scottish style.
Layout ground floor, comfortable tastefully furnished living room with wood burning stove, elegant formal dining room, fully equipped kitchen with Aga and back door to garden, entrance hallway to the front, front porch, sweeping lawn to the front; upstairs two double bedrooms, large nicely appointed family bathroom with bath and overhead electric shower. Sleeps 4.
Symington is a charming conservation village with village pub providing excellent Scottish food, a post office and a small Coop supermarket where all daily needs are provided for; all within walking distance. The pub is just around the corner and five minutes away is Spice Route a very excellent Indian Restaurant.
Many beautiful walks in the surrounding area, Culzean Castle, Dumfries House and Dean Castle to name a few of the nearby attractions. Alloway in Ayr lies 15 minutes drive away with Burns Cottage, Rozelle Park and the nearby village of Dunure where many scenes have been filmed for television and film. Trips further afield to the island of Arran from Nearby Ardrossan, or Cumbrae from Stranraer or Bute, Rothesay from Wemyss bay to the very wonderful Mount Stuart the seat of the Marquess of Bute. The list is endless. Ayrshire is a beautiful part of Scotland with much to offer. For the equestrian the possibilities are endless as indeed too for the golfer. Dundonald Links, Royal Troon, Turnberry to name a few.

£8,500 sterling for 10 days 14-24 July but can be flexible with dates.
Rental for month, 30 days, £17,000.
Terms: 30 percent non refundable deposit at the time of booking.
Balance to be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival.
