Welcome to our beautiful home – Clonkerry on the Hill. A large, comfortable 4-bedroom, quality dwelling located in the heart of the Irish countryside in Barefield Co. Clare yet conveniently located 5 minutes-drive from the motorway, 12 minutes-drive from Ennis town, 35 minutes-drive from Limerick and 50 minutes drive from Doonbeg Golf Course (40 km).
Our home is perched on a height, with stunning views of rolling hills and lush grasslands from both the front and the rear. The peaceful setting is only interrupted by the sound of cows, sheep and sparrow hawks (there is a family of them living down the valley!).
Property Particulars: Our property has 3 spacious double bedrooms available – each with king sized beds. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, the third is on the first floor. One of the bedrooms on the ground floor is fully en-suite while the second and third bedrooms share a spacious family bathroom with sink, toilet, bath (with hand held shower) and a separate double corner shower unit. A second double sized-bed can, on request, be added into the third bedroom on the 1st floor to accommodate an additional 2 people.
Guests will have access to a large impressive living room complete with a double wood-burning stove and unique double-height church-like windows. A full equipped generously proportioned kitchen with a small living area is also available to guests.
Outside, the property has an expansive outside patio area where guests can appreciate the stunning views and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding countryside. Additionally, we have ample parking and helicopter landing space if required.
Finally, as well as being in close proximity to Doknbeg Holf Course, we are also ideally located to other highly regarded and popular Co. Clare Golf Courses; Dromoland Castle Golf Course is a mere 15 minutes drive (11km) away, La Hinch Golf Course 40 minutes (30 km) and Adare Manor Golf Course 44 minutesz
In terms of airport access, Barefield is conveniently located for Shannon airport (29 km, 27 minute drive), Knock Airport (136km, 1 hour 30 minutes), Cork Airport (146km, 1 hour and 57 minutes) and Dublin airport (247km, 2 hours 28 minutes).
