Sunset by the Sea is a stunning family home with panoramic views of the cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, Mutton Island and Seal Island. Irish Open Accommodation set in an acre of landscaped gardens, with its own golf practice area, this property offers four double rooms,2 ensuite. A master bedroom upstairs has spectacular views of the Cliffs of Moher and beautiful sunsets, with a super king bed, ensuite and a walk in wardrobe. Downstairs there are three double rooms. One with a king sized bed and two other rooms with double beds. One of these is ensuite and there is a main bathroom, with bath shower etc.
The main living area consists of an open plan oak kitchen/dining room/sitting room with a stunning stone fireplace, the main feature, at its centre. There are high ceilings with wooden beams. This leads into a sunroom with a cathedral ceiling. There are genuine Persian rugs scattered throughout. Gas stoves and an oil burning stanly stove provide heat, Outside, there is a pergola with barbecue facilities and a beautiful patio to view the gorgeous West Clare Sunsets. There is also plenty of secure sheds to keep golfclubs. There is Wifi throughout the house and televisions in sitting room and sunroom.

There is a double bed in two of the bedrooms and a single and double bed in the third bedroom..There is a seperate bathroom with shower etc and an open plan kitchen,dining and sitting room.
There is ample parking around the property..
Miltown Malbay is a perfect base for both the Walker cup and the Irish Open.
Lahinch is a 10 minute drive away and Doonbeg is 20 minutes..
We are a 40minute drive from Shannon airport and there is so much to do and see in West Clare.
Miltown Malbay is a small town surrounded by 3 beautiful beaches
Spanish Point, The White Strand and Seafield beach. Take a surf lesson or rent a kyack or simply sit back with a good book and enjoy a swim. There are restaurants, pubs, shops and even an ice-cream shop to wander around and even the Bank has been turned into a Design Bank. Watch artists create their wares in this beautiful space, pick up some fresh artisan food and even some fresh eggs and vegetables from local growers..
If it is sightseeing you are after, take a trip to Loophead Lighthouse, stoppnng at the stunning Bridges of Ross on the way. Sip coffee in the Diamond Rocks cafe in Kilkee before doing the spectacular cliff walk from that very location. Take a trip to the Cliffs of Moher and take a dip at Clahane to cool down after.
Take your pick of hikes through the Burren with a stop at the Perfumery after for a pot of coffee and yummy home made cakes. And visit Hazel Mountain Chocolate and watch sweets been made and pick up some for the journey home. Check out Aillwee Caves and Doolin Caves. Take the ferry from Doolin to one of the 3 Aran Islands or do a boat trip around the base of the Cliffs of Moher for a unique view of these wonders. Visit Buratty Castle and folk park. Wonder around Coole park.
Oh and lets not forget the food of West Clare. As well as wonderful local restaurants, there are also some locally famous ones within a half hour drive. Tubertys Bar in Doonbeg, Monks in Ballyvaughan, Vaughans and McHughs in Liscannor and Oar and The Homestead in Doolin. Avail of the free bus that runs daily from Miltown to the Cliffs. You can hop on or off at local towns along the way.
Finally to golf, Lahinch has two courses to choose from and we have our own beautiful course in Spanish point, with stunning views of the sea. Doonbeg is 20minutes away and Ennis golf club 30 minutes. Dromoland Castle is about 40mins..That is a few of approximately 12 course in Co. Clare. There is also the ferry to Kerry, which boasts some of the most spectacular golf courses and Galway is only an hour away.
