Ideal Irish Open Accommodation at Drumbo Country House (DCH), situated in Lisburn, 40 minutes (23 miles) from Royal County Down (RCD). Dublin Airport is 90 minutes away, Belfast International 40 minutes, and Belfast City Airport 30 minutes.
Rockmount Golf Course is 2 miles from DCH, and enroute to RCD, Ardglass Golf Club is 40 minutes from DCH and 30 minutes from RCD. We also have Dunmurry, Malone, Belvoir and Temple Golf Courses within a 5 mile radius of the property.
We offer accommodation for up to 16 people, across the Main House in 5 bedrooms
Loft: 1x Double, 1 x Super King, and First Floor: 1 x Triple Room with 3 singles sharing a Family Bathroom with Jacuzzi Bath, Shower, Toilet & Sink).
Further on the First Floor is 1 x Triple (Double & Single with Ensuite, and 1x Double with Ensuite).
The Ground Floor has a large open plan kitchen/dining area and an additional living room with wood burning stove. The kitchen leads onto a ground floor WC, Onsite Bar called 'The Swallow' where you can pour your own pint of Guinness, Commercial Pizza Kitchen that is a hands on experience, and a Small Gym.
The rest of the accommodation is in The Vintage Horse Truck, which sleeps 4, a double bed off the main patio area, and a wee climb up to the King Size Bed above the main Cabin, separated by a sliding door. The Vintage Horse Truck has it's own wee space to sit, along with mini fridge, toaster and kettle.
Onsite we also have a hydrotherapy hot tub for 5 people, a sauna for 6, a BBQ Hut that seats 16-18 people, pool table, darts, soft archery and an airsoft shooting range, a large outdoor covered patio area, large mature gardens with 2 artificial grass putting greens, with plenty of space to meet up in or relax.
We have a 16 seat mini-bus onsite to make airport collections and drop-offs, along with transport to and from the event. We can organise hiking trips, walking tours, whiskey tours, sightseeing tours. You just let us know your interests and we will tailor a package to suit.
Restaurants/pubs within a 5 mile radius are Robert Stewarts (known locally as Bob Stewarts) serving up traditional pub grub, Eight South in Carryduff, The Pheasant in Annahilt, The Plough and Hillside in Royal Hillsborough, and we are only 8 miles from Belfast City Centre!
