Mountain View Lodge is situated in the middle of the Mourne Mountains. Irish Open home rental 5 minute drive from the Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle, 5 minutes to Castlewellan Forest Park, two minute drive or 15 minute walk to Tollymore Forest Park and Trassey car park where Game of Thrones was filmed. Mountain View Lodge is a state of the art newly renovated home. Its on a private property with a driveway and private parking for multiple vehicles. Spectacular views of the Mourne Mountains (Slieve Donard, Bearnagh, Slieve Commedagh and Slieve Meelmore). All of which can be climbed during your stay.

1 hour 15 minutes drive from Dublin airport, 45 minute drive to Belfast Airports.

We have a hot tub, a fully operated bar which has Guinness kegs, a coin operated pool table, bar, 62 inch TV and seating area. We also have Fibre Optic WiFi.

Our Irish Open home rental can hold 12 people, we have 6 bedrooms 3 of which have ensuites and two additional bathrooms. 2 king size beds and 4 double beds. We could possibly squeeze in an additional two people as our bedrooms are very large. An open plan kitchen/living/dining area as well as another fully furnished living room. We pride ourselves in the cleanliness in our properties and the house will be fully equipped with everything you need.

Newcastle has a wide selection of bars, restaurants, golf, cafes, the beach, sea and harbour all 5 minute drive from the property.
