Luxurious 4 bedroom detached rural property with private mature gardens and plenty of parking space.
Located just outside Clough, a 17 minute drive from the Royal County Down is our beautiful house nestled within one acre of well maintained mature gardens. With beautiful views of the Mourne Mountains, this modern house is the ideal retreat in which to relax after spending a day at the Irish open.
Close to the main road from Newcastle to Belfast, the property is centrally located to access not only Newcastle for the Irish Open but also the other world recognised golf courses such as St Patrick’s Golf Club, Saul (13 minutes drive), Bright (13 Minutes), Ardglass 20 Minutes), Spa (17 mins) by car.
The beautiful house can comfortably accommodate 6 people with 2 double and 2 single bedrooms, 2 living/reception rooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room. As in all Irish homes, the heart of the house is the modern, large kitchen and its centre piece of a large granite island and breakfast bar, provides the ideal place to relax and converse after a perfect golfing day. The kitchen has a 5 induction hob, oven, dishwasher, full size fridge and well stocked cupboards which our guests may make use of to ensure their stay is as enjoyable as possible.
The good size utility room has a washing machine, tumble drier and full size freezer along with space for coats and golfing equipment.
The expansive open plan kitchen, dining, and sitting room area with smart tv offers stunning views of the Mourne Mountains and leads to the patio area. Private enclosed gardens wrap around the property and guests are welcome to pick apples from our apple trees, enjoy some basketball or take some down time with the children to play football in the garden with two football nets (balls available at the property).
There is plenty of outside space and seating to enjoy a barbeque or relax and enjoy the views and tranquillity the property offers.
Board games such as, ‘Discovering Ireland’ is available to entertain and educate both the young and the more mature, on rainy days.
As Tullymurry Equestrian Centre is situated very close to the property quite often the 50 -60 ponies from the equestrian centre graze in the fields next to the property. With ample parking spaces, the property is located up a private laneway with undisrupted views of the Mourne Mountains.
We are continually making improvements to our property and the outside of the property is undergoing some construction however work will not be taking place during the Irish open and it will not affect the wonderful stay that awaits you in this beautiful property.
