Irish Open 2024 Accommodation - Larkmount House is a modern self catering 4 bedroom house in the heart of the Mournes with spectacular views and easy access for exploring the Mourne mountains and seaside towns of Kilkeel and Newcastle. It is the perfect base for enjoying the Irish Open as it is just 20 minutes from Royal County Down, the venue for the event. The house is of modern contemporary style and decorated to a high standard and has all you need to enjoy your stay in the idyllic Northern Irish countryside.
The house has 4 large bedroom’s 3 of which have their own en-suite with showers. Each bedroom is equipped with high quality bed linen and towels as well as complimentary toiletries. Upstairs there is also a main bathroom with a free standing bath to help unwind. A special treat in the house is the upstairs snooker room which has a full size snooker table and mini bar.
The living area is downstairs and boosts a modern kitchen with a fridge, cooker and washing machine as well as all necessary cooking utensils. There is a dining table and breakfast bar which overlooks the fantastic view of Slieve Binnian. Breakfast essentials such as milk, butter, tea, coffee and sugar will be provided as well as a welcome hamper. The open plan living area has a corner sofa and a large tv with access to Netflix and Wifi throughout the house. There is a downstairs toilet and a sun room with a wood burning stove for the cosy evenings.
The house boosts a large garden with ample parking space for numerous vehicles and has ratten outdoor furniture and a bbq. There is also a convenience store located within 1 mile with an off licence.
Larkmount House is set in a quiet, peaceful area at the foot of the Mourne mountains, as the name suggests you can see Slieve Binnian in all its glory! The mountains are easily accessed and hill walking is a popular past time for many in the area. The apartment is also less than 2 mile from Silent Valley Mountain Park where you can walk many forest trails and see the reservoir, soaking up the breathtaking views of the mournes. Cranfield and Dunavil beach’s are also located within a 2 mile radius.
