The Donard Escape, is a recently refurbished bungalow encompassed in its own private garden. Surrounded by green fields it boasts stunning views of the Irish sea, Mourne mountains and beautiful countryside views. This makes the perfect relaxing hideaway or cosy base for anyone wishing to explore or adventure in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Shops and restaurants are only a five-minute drive away in nearby towns, Castlewellan or Newcastle.

The property is located up a quiet lane in the beautiful village of Bryansford. Rooms at the front of the property have views stretching from St John’s Point light house to Murlough beach to the highest mountain in Northern Ireland, the Slieve Donard. To the rear and sides of the property there are views of the open countryside and it’s wildlife.

All three bedrooms are spacious, with pocket sprung mattresses and high quality bedding. The master suite has a king size bed and a newly refurbished en-suite. The other bedroom to the front of the property also has a king size bed and built in wardrobe. The bedroom to the rear of the property is a twin room. Travel cots are also available for young families.

A pleasant dining space looks out onto country views, with patio doors opening to the garden. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped, with microwave, dishwasher, integrated fridge freezer and a wine cooler. The adjoining utility room has a washing machine.

The sitting room has cosy sofas to relax in front of the open fire or just to sit and admire the panoramic views.
