Irish Open Accommodation with 3 bedrooms located in the center of Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow. Wifi included, washing and drying facilities, barbecue and outdoor seating. Irish Open property rental just 25 minute drive (34km) from Mount Juliet Estate, 75 minute drive (93km) from Dublin airport. 2 minute walk to local train station where trains run to Thomastown train station where there are shuttle buses from the train station to the golf course each day. Our house is also very close to local amenities including Borris Golf Course, Carlow Golf Course and Mount Wolseley Golf Course. There are a number of local tourist attractions including the Barrow way which is a scenic river walk, there is also the local whiskey distillery, Walsh’s whiskey. In addition there are a number of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. A 5 minute drive brings you to the neighbouring village of Leighlinbridge which has the award winning Arboretum lifestyle and garden centre and the Lord Bagenal hotel which both provide food. Kilenny city is also a 20 minute drive away which boasts a host of restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions including Kilkenny Castle. Carlow town is just a 15 minute drive which also has a wide range of restaurants and pubs. There is a regular train service to both Kilkenny and Carlow and there are also local taxi services that can be booked for the length of your stay. Dates are flexible.
