The Open 2021 Accommodation
Accommodation for The Open at Ladywell House, a large Georgian home built as a manse in 1806, and formerly owned by Frances Shand Kydd, which sits in an acre of walled garden, and is amongst hundreds of acres of farmland at the edge of the village of Falkland, and only 19 miles from the Open in St Andrews. There are 50 golf courses within 30 minutes of Falkland, including Ladybank, Elie, Crail, Lundin Links, Leven, Gleneagles and Falkland.
The house comprises 6 bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suite, with 2 further bathrooms and a downstairs wc. There is a large dining kitchen with AGA, a warm and comfortable conservatory with easy chairs and dining for 8, a large and bright Drawing Room with dual aspect and an open fire, a large and elegant dining room for up to 16, and a tv room with library and tv. Internet is available.
There is a terrace with garden seating and a BBQ, and large lawns and well kept flowerbeds. There are stunning views from all rooms, and the house is quiet and peaceful, but only 10 minutes walk from pubs, hotels and restaurants in Falkland.
A 20% non-refundable booking deposit will secure your stay. A 10% damage deposit is required upon arrival and will be returned upon departure. Full payment is due by 1st June, 2021. Transportation is not included but can be arranged for an additional cost.
