The owners are cattle farmers and own all surrounding land of the house.
There are 4 double bedroom with the option of a 5th bedroom instead of an office.
There are 2 en suite bedrooms ( one on ground level) and a main family bathroom and a downstairs wc.
There is a large kitchen cum dining room cum living area.
A separate sitting room, 2 pot belly stoves and timber provided and and an AGA oil cooker in the kitchen.
There are 2 seated patio areas outside and use of a bbq if needed.
The village which is 2 km from the house has castle durrow and the ashbrook hotel which both do great food and a selection of country pubs with live music at the weekends.
There are 2 local golf courses nearby.
Rathdowney golf club 13km from house and Abbeyleix golf club 12km from house. Killinard golf club and resort is 40 km from the house also.
Mount Juliet is 40km from house.
There are also various woodland walks in the area and Grantstown lake for fishing also.
