Opal 1, Newport Ryder Cup Accommodation offers newly built high quality self contained bedrooms and flats within 4 miles of Celtic Manor Golf and Country Club, the Ryder Cup course and Caerleon Golf Course.
Location and Transport: Located in the City centre, Opal 1 Newport is convenient for shops and the city nightlife, with a large supermarket just minutes’ walk away. It is a short 10 minute walk from the railway station and approximately 700m from Newport Central Bus Station where regular services to the Ryder Cup venue will run from.
Facilities on site include a large modern guest lounge with Sky TV, pool table and vending machines. There is also a laundrette for use of residents. There is on-site car parking available for a limited number of cars as well as an NCP car park located just 5mins walk away.
Opened in 2008 to supply high quality accommodation, Opal 1 offers single and double ensuite bedrooms within a range of 3, 4, 5 and 6 bed self catering flats and offers a modern secure environment with a 24 hour manned reception. All self contained Flats have the following:

There is a choice of single and double bedrooms in 3,4,5 and 6 bed flats. A minimum of 3 nights must be booked during the letting period of 27th September 2010 to 4th October 2010.
You can book individual rooms or book as a group. For a group booking of an entire flat for the whole week, a 5% discount will apply.
