Cwrt Yr Ala Estate is a private 8 bedroom Edwardian residence in the hamlet of Michaelston Le Pit accessed via a private tree-lined drive set in 42 acres of formal gardens, a series of lakes and weirs with cascading waterfalls, woodland, pastureland, walled orchard and vegetable garden. This is complimented with an outdoor swimming pool with changing rooms, stables and a tennis court and yet all this is within minutes of the vibrant city centre of Cardiff and easy access to the M4, the Celtic Manor and Cardiff Airport.
Downstairs, Cwrt yr Ala house comprises of a reception room, drawing room, music room, dining room, snooker room, cloakroom, kitchen, conservatory, utility room, boot room and butler's pantry.
Upstairs reveals a galleried landing, the main bedroom - with en-suite bathroom and dressing room - seven further bedrooms, and three extra bathrooms.
All rooms can accommodate double beds if required giving a total of 16 bed spaces, if required three of the bedroom rooms could accommodate two double beds giving a total number of 22 beds spaces.
The kitchen has all the necessary facilities for catering and the dining room can accommodate 16 people. There is a media centre which provides internet access, Sky TV, a large selection of movies and music distributed throughout the house. There is use of a small gym as well as numerous local runs and bike trails.
There will be an onsite caretaker to assist you throughout your stay as well as Redcare GSM. Other residents include two dogs, three red deer, horses, cows, wild pheasants, partridge, chickens and our 80 year old tortoise Fred.
There is private parking for 10 + cars, coaches and there is plenty of room for landing helicopters.
This property is rurally idyll while maintaining the convenience of being just five miles outside Cardiff and within a 1/2 hour drive to the Celtic Manor resort.
