Ryder Cup 2010 Accommodation Package

Bishopswood House

Bishopswood House is a Victorian country house situated in its own magnificent 1000 acre estate first mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Survey.

Resting sedately above the Wye Valley the house and grounds afford glorious views across the valley to the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacon National Park beyond. We are 28 miles and an easy drive from the Celtic Manor Resort. There are four other golf courses within 7 miles of the house with the prestigious Marriot San Pier at Chepstow and the Monmouth Rolls clubs also within a comfortable drive.

The house accommodates 27 people in 14 rooms, which are a good mixture of double (some with four poster beds), single and twin rooms, many of which are ensuite. The ground floor has a comfortable sitting room with an open log fire and TV. Both the kitchen and the large ballroom easily accommodate 27 guests for breakfast and/or an evening meal.

There is ample parking in our secure car park along with facilities for helicopter landing and take off.

At Bishopswood House you are assured the full attention of our unobtrusive staff. Laundry and chamber maid services can be arranged along with taxi services and airport collection.

For those wishing to take a day ‘out’ we are ideally placed for pamper packages at the nearby Wye Valley Spa or shopping trips to historic Cheltenham, Bath or Bristol, and are happy to arrange these for you.

Our price includes a hearty Bishopswood Breakfast. For your days out we can provide you with picnic hampers, on your return we can cater for all your evening dining requirements, from a barbeque on our extensive lawns to even a gourmet meal and everything in between.

Price on application. Please contact us to discuss in further detail.
