It offers an exceptionally high standard of accommodation for rental parties, whilst still retaining all the character one might expect from a welcoming stately home. The house is furnished with antiques and family portraits throughout. Sleeps 14.

An extremely comfortable 3 bedroom house, West House is adjacent to Taymount House. There is an elegantly presented open plan living room which features a powerful wood burning stove at the east end and a kitchen and dining area at the other. There is also direct access to the garden from this level. A useful 'muddy boots' room provides for hanging wet clothes and storing clubs after a long day out on the course. Upstairs, one can fully relax in the deep claw foot, roll top bath before sinking into a comfortable bed surrounded by original artworks. The House is tastefully furnished with a mixture of antiques and contemporary furniture. Sleeps 6.
Originally used to house Taymount’s Head Gardener- who had an army of 6 workers in his daily employ- this cottage has a genuine charm. Having recently undergone a substantive refurbishment this cottage perfectly balances the quirky, charming and archaic with the functional, comfortable and new. You will enjoy the thrill of stepping back in time as you light the log fire in the original range which has been sensitively restored. There are many other original features in the cottage, including additional fireplaces and ranges, whilst the ensuite shower room and the bathroom have been upgraded to modern standards. The 3 bedrooms are all bright and fresh and complimented by various original works of art. Gardener's Cottage is fully furnished with a mixture of well positioned antiques and more modern pieces of furniture, which enhances the atmosphere in the cottage. Sleeps 6.
Each of the three Taymount Estate properties function well independently of each other with separate garden areas, parking spaces and their own dedicated pathways to the river. The houses are conveniently located adjacent to each other within the grounds: This provides the larger party (up to 26) with a unique opportunity to rent all three stunning properties. The optimum way to experience Taymount Estate.
Most bedrooms can be made into ‘twin’ or ‘king double’ bedrooms or ‘super king double’.
Guests should specify the make-up of the party on booking.
